AmerisourceBergen is becoming Cencora in 2023

Dear valued customer,

Today, our parent company AmerisourceBergen announced the intent to change our company name to Cencora and I wanted to follow-up personally to provide specifics related to the animal health businesses of AmerisourceBergen.

The AmerisourceBergen family of animal health companies includes MWI Animal Health, Micro Technologies, Securos Surgical, and AllyDVM. While our parent company name AmerisourceBergen will be changing to Cencora, the animal health brands you know and trust will continue to serve the animal health industry.

What to expect next

Today we are merely sharing the intent of AmerisourceBergen to change its name as a courtesy to you, however there will be no immediate changes or updates over the coming months.

Later in 2023 we anticipate that our name “AmerisourceBergen” will change to “Cencora.” Visually, we carry the AmerisourceBergen name in our animal health logos, and so naturally these logos will be updated as we transition to Cencora.

Please be assured this name change and any impacts will happen over time, in carefully planned, controlled phases, and communicated well in advance. And, throughout this brand evolution we remain committed to providing day-to-day excellence in the same way as we do today. To be specific: there are no changes to your contract(s) or the way in which we interact, and your usual company representative(s) will remain the same. No immediate name changes will occur on any paperwork, digitally or otherwise, and the same applies to any other assets that you use today.
